Happy Easter J. With love to you all from all of us in Brighton. The boys are full of chocolate so a walk along the seafront is definitely the order of the day. Annie xxx
Sweet wishes back to you Annie, we have three chocolated children here too, oh the excited squeals as the hunt ensued. A walk along the Brighton Sea front sounds like the perfect order of the day! See you in a few weeks!!
Gigi, I love that you know the book!! I think its from the 1930's, such a good story. The kids loved it, will put it away till next Easter now. I like adding traditions as the years go by, decorating a little Easter tree and reading this are two relatively new ones. Maybe a Greek Easter morning bread next year! Didn't quite manage this year.
We are off to grandparents today to find some eggs! (In the Netherlands we have two days from every holiday, 2 X-mas days, two Easter days, two...... you name it, we have it!)
I loved this book as a child! I had forgotten all about it until a few years ago when I found it in the attic. Hope you and yours had a beautiful Easter celebration.
The ponderings and small adventures of a mum, the Mr. and their four children. A family which started in England and then moved to Malta (with a year in Iceland thrown in).
Lovely! My little Caramel a little too young for hunting eggs, but we will be reading Peter Rabbit! Have a joyful Easter!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you. Come see my music giveaway. :)
