Pork loin roasted with cactus pears over sliced fennel and onions in a sweet and savory sauce.and authentic straight from their own kitchen cooks like these ladies. I so wish I lived in NYC to frequent Enoteca Maria. Heard a great little interview with the nonnas on BBC Radio 4 woman's hour today,
Enjoyed hearing the descriptions of their specialities and what a great idea for a restaurant !

ReplyDeleteI looked at your link and am looking forward to listening...I liked a French radio link you posted a while back. I'm certain I would like the Italian's restaurant. My Gram (who was my very best friend) was a terrible cook. Her cookies had black bottoms and she would sometimes not use sugar...(!)
