Later in the evening just after dinner I slipped out for a walk, down small streets and fortressed harbors, (sights which have become every day but I thought I would take the time to stop and appreciate it a bit), here are a few views from along my walk (am usually accompanied by the lovely A. or S.). We tend to talk so much we rather flow through these spaces amid laughs and political ponderings. Nothing as restorative as an evening walk and a nice chat.
Happy Friday
What a mystical world you live in! Just beautiful pictures, Juniper. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteJust starting to catch up on all of the blog reading I have missed in the past few weeks with traveling....lovely shots and I agree with you on that hour of golden light. It's my favorite. And lovely poppies. All of the wild ones we seem to have right around us are bright red and orange. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that pinkish/purplish one. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful stroll around your magical place. Ordinary to you, but extraordinary to us. Thanks for the journey!

ReplyDeleteThere are bits of beauty to be found round random corners here! I ought to also do a post showing the other views too though...the construction, traffic jams and random litter. On a golden afternoon though its the nature that becons for some appreciation.

Lovely views and fascinating sights. Even the construction, traffic jams and bits of litter have their 'charm'.
