It's blood orange season here (laring ta dem), a welcomed return. I am still getting used to the intense colour of their juices. Ahh but they do have such a nice particular taste, as probably many of you know. Unfortunately our gang of smalls refuses to give them a try. It has turned warm here, spring almost summer is in the air.

Mmmm, fresh Malta juice. My Maltese girlfriend's mother has a couple of regular orange trees and are always happy to get the oranges used. And I love drinking fresh juice :) Does the blood oranges taste like Kinnie?

ReplyDeleteSorry I should clarify that they are in season at the moment in Sicily, thus flooding our little vegetable shops (many of which are vans). I feel a new sorbet may be in order!
