Corner view: Statues


These two statues were spotted near a small boarded up chapel on a walk past artichoke fields (posted about some weeks ago).  They were so unassuming,  seemingly forgotten about, amid overgrown fields and flower patches. Far from any paved road.

  4. This gives me chills... so so tender. To see those statues out on a weedy hill makes them even more meaningful...and it looks like Saint Francis is really preaching to the birds out there too. Thank you Juniper for posting this amazing find... xo

  7. How pretty. I haven ever seen those statues before. Hard to believe that there are places on such a small island that I have not yet discovered.
